FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • I mostly work across Cheshire, Manchester, Chester, Merseyside, and Lancashire, but if you’re getting married further afield and you like what I do, please do get in touch. I’ll always do my best to play for you if I can!

  • No problem! I can set up indoors or outdoors, weather depending. Both rain and sun can damage the equipment though, so shade/cover is ideal.

  • Yes, and it’s extensive. I’ll happily send it to you for inspiration, but I’m happy to learn anything I don’t already play for you.

  • Yes, it’s your day! As long as I have enough time to prepare, I should be able to play most songs requested – I’ll always advise you if I think something may not be a good fit or not possible within the timeframe.

  • Yes, I’m fully insured, and my equipment is PAT tested.

  • I’m in great demand and often have to turn couples down – especially on popular wedding dates. Most couples book their wedding 2-3 years in advance, so my strong advice is that if you find any vendor that you think will be a good fit (whether it’s a pianist, photographer, venue etc.), get them booked as soon as you can..

  • Of course! I’m here to guide you every step of the way and can suggest songs that evoke any emotion. If you like, just tell me how you want your wedding to feel, and I’ll demo some appropriate music for you.

  • Yes, my Grand Piano shell is included in every booking. I’m also happy to play any piano that’s at your wedding (providing it’s in tune!).

  • Anything you wish! Most couples choose pop/soul covers, but I can also play classical, jazz – you name it.

  • I try my best to make the booking process as smooth and straightforward as can be. In a nutshell:

    • Send me an enquiry with your date

    • Let’s have a quick chat (ideally over the phone/Zoom, but email/messages are fine if you’ve got all the answers you need!)

    • I’ll send the deposit details over to you to secure your booking (it’s just 20%)

    • Send me any song requests when you can – ideally a few months before your wedding, but I’ll always try my very best to learn anything for you

    • Remaining balance is due a month before your wedding

  • Yes, it’s a 20% deposit to secure your booking. Due to a large number of enquiries, I can’t hold dates for couples that haven’t paid their deposit.

  • My cancellation policy requires a non-refundable deposit upon booking to secure your date. Whilst I understand unexpected situations may arise, the deposit compensates for potential lost bookings. If cancellation occurs less than six months in advance, the full amount becomes due and non-refundable. Above all, I value clear communication and am happy to address any questions or concerns you may have.

  • Yes, I have plenty of examples on YouTube and Instagram – if you’d like me to demonstrate anything specific for you, let me know and I’ll send it over!

  • Prices start from £349, and I offer personalized quotes based on your specific event requirements. Please reach out to discuss your wedding details, and I'll be happy to provide you with a tailored pricing option.

  • No. Travel costs may apply to distances over 30 miles, but I’ll always include these in your quote.

  • Yes, I love to do this, as it gives me a much clearer picture of you two as a couple and your vision for the day. This can be done over Zoom or on the phone, or happy to meet in person if you’re close to Warrington. Don’t worry if you’re the shy and retiring type and would prefer to discuss everything via email/text – whatever works best for you 😊

  • Of course. I’ll always try my best to make sure your day goes without a hitch – whatever’s needed to make your day perfect!

  • A typical civil Wedding Ceremony tends to last around half an hour, Church services can be a little longer. I will play for at least half an hour before as guests are arriving, and make sure the music continues until everyone has left.

Drinks Receptions and Wedding Breakfasts tend to last for an hour and a half – again, I don’t clock watch, so I’ll make sure you have music throughout.

  • I’ll always do my best to make your day exactly as you want it, so yes. If you have a singer (professional or otherwise!) that you would like me to accompany, just let me know in advance.

I also work with professional singers and musicians, so if you need anything else for the day (singers, guitarists, duos, bands etc), then feel free to enquire.

  • I try my very best to keep the music flowing for you all day, but please remember I’m human too! I don’t need any specific breaks but may need to grab a quick drink or nip to the loo. I can play suitable music through my PA system if I do nip away though, so I’ll make sure the atmosphere doesn’t drop!
